It's a shame those awful Pirates are holding that innocent American captain hostage. I truely will be praying extra for him; even the pirates. The 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon is a very interesting concept. I don't quite believe that it is possible (well, maybe for someone as famous as say I, but not just some average old joe) that Kevin Bacon knows EVERYONE in some way. Oh fiddlesticks, my newly healed wrist is cramping up again! I hope I can still play my guitar at tomorrow night's show! Last night's show was interesting...two very young women were sitting back row and everytime I would start a new song, almost perfectly right before I began the intro, they would stand up and shout 'YEAH, GRAM PARSONS!!'. It was an odd night...

Sunday.

I absolutely love Sunday. Obviously, for many reasons, you know, Jesus. God. My wife was born on a Sunday. Sometimes, after all is said and done, after I've paid the lord a good visit, I like to go home, get down to my socks and break out the acoustic. Well, seeing as my wrist is still broken, it took me longer than usual, but I managed. I sang some classics like, "Drugstore Truck Drivin' Man" and "The Christian Life". I hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday, the last day of Christmas.

As we all know, due to my recent post on youtube,

I have broken my wrist. Fortunately, after watching myself on youtube (and believe me, I've watched myself on youtube numerous times but I never noticed this) I learned that I don't even USE my wrist when playing. So the tour is still on board and I see a smooth landing ahead. I called Chris the other night, to see what he is doing for Christmas, but unfortunately he told me he was visiting relatives in Guam. Anyone up for some eggnog (alcohol free, of course) and a long night of Christmas scrabble?

I love the Christmas season. It's times like these when I wish I had children to give presents to; but that's ok, I always remember to keep Christ in Christmas and to remember that Christ was a child, so by giving my body to the Lord for the holidays, then, in a way, I'm giving him a gift, right?

Perhaps Camilia and I will adopt this holiday?

First, I want to thank the good Lord for the safe travel of my dear friend, Chris Hillman. You see, Chris decided to visit his daughter in Reno, but the weather (he was currently stationed in NY) delayed every flight for that day! I called, and when he informed me of this I offered to fly him to Reno. Poor man was so hysterical! He was so flustered, he actually started laughing! Hahaha, oh Chris. Anyway, I called him again the next day, and considering he didn't pick up his phone, I assume he made it safetly. I can only hope that the good Lord has cushioned a soft landing for my dear friend Chris.

Oh, and P.S. Gram, cheer up. I'm telling you-FINGERLESS. GLOVES.

Say, anyone know any of the hard facts about Viagra?-NOT that I need it just...I wanted to know who covered that song..

Ah yes, the sky was blue, the leaves were blowing away, and the cold nip of the foreshadowing fall slapped me in the face with the freshest of air. Sadly, I could only enjoy it for five minutes; the wife won't let me out in this weather too long, seeing as I am slightly under the weather these days. Doc says I have a cold. I say; eternal hell. I can't go out and fly my plane! Or talk with my good neighbor Bill about propellers! It is awful! But thank the good Lord that the History channel decided to run an episode on the history of Area 51. Of course those silly bastards didn't let up on the juicy facts! Hah! But they did give me enough Insight to believe that they ARE in FACT hiding E.T.'s from us...
